Meet Our Principal

“I believe that teachers and administrators can work closely and collaboratively to ensure students have a great educational experience. Students deserve to have teachers who have documented results teaching them, and teachers deserve to be treated/valued for their professional knowledge and all the great attributes they bring.”    - Principal Fullerton

A native of Chicago’s Southside, Mrs. Lauryn Fullerton is excited to open a Noble campus in the Auburn Gresham community. She began her career as a Teach for America corps member in Baltimore, MD where she taught fifth grade at Westport Academy. There she founded the school’s first annual spelling bee and step team, and served on the school improvement and student recognition committees. After completing her two-year commitment, she worked as a Program Director for Teach for America-Chicago. Desiring a more direct impact, Mrs. Fullerton returned to the classroom and joined Noble as a Founding Science Instructor at UIC College Prep. In her two years at UICCP, she chaired and facilitated data analysis for the department and co-authored the department’s first, second, and third year curricula. Most recently, Mrs. Fullerton served as Founding Assistant Principal at Johnson College Prep, a campus of Noble Network of Charter Schools. Mrs. Fullerton received both her B.A. in Public Health Studies with a concentration on Natural Sciences and M.A.T. in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins University and completed her Ed.S. at National Louis University.
